Nannaku Prematho (English: To Dad With Love) is an upcoming Telugu action family drama film written and directed by Sukumar. Produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad under his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra Banner and co-produced by Bhogavalli Bapineedu & Reliance Entertainment . The film starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr. (Jr. NTR) and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles while Jagapati Babu will play the main antagonist and Rajendra Prasad will play another pivotal role as NTR's Father. This film is 25th film for N. T. Rama Rao Jr. as an actor. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's music and background score. The cinematography was handled by Vijay C Chakravarthy and flim Editing was done by Navin Nooli. The film shooting started in August 2015 and is likely to release on 8th January 2016 as Sankranthi Treat. While the Audio of the film is going to launch on 14th December 2015.

Production

Development

In May 2015, Sukumar (director) came up with a story written by himself. In August 2015 The film's shooting was started and in December post-production will be done. Nanaku prematho First Look has released on 17 September 2015 on occasion of Vinaya Chavithi. The film teaser was released on 21 October 2015 on occasion of Vijayadasami (Dasara) festival. The teaser created a record of Most liked telugu teaser. Also most viewed telugu film teaser. And another poster was release as Deepavali Special which was the dancing still of Jr.NTR.

Casting

Rakul Preet Singh was selected to play female lead role opposite Jr. NTR. Rajendra Prasad is playing Jr. NTR's father role in this film. Initially Jagapati Babu and NTR's own father Nandamuri Harikrishna were approached to play the NTR's father role in the movie but due to some reasons both refused. Jagapati Babu instead playing the main negative role.

Filming

Nannaku Prematho shooting was started in the UK. It was a 40 day schedule, where all the actors took part. After that the team returned to Hyderabad. Whilst Sukumar is directing Nannakuprematho, simultaneously he is also producing the Kumari 21F movie, so he took a break because Kumari 21F was nearing its release date. The NKPT team started a shoot in Hyderabad after a gap.

Soundtrack

Music of this film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad collaborating for fifth time with Jr.NTR and done music for all Sukumar directed Movies. The Audio of Nannaku Prematho will be released on 14th December 2015.
